Days before an announcement that had been almost 40 years in the making, Rich Stubler underwent laser surgery to clear up an infection in the back of his throat. He also slipped on the ice outside his home, opening a gash that by Thursday had dried into the shape of a crescent moon over his left eye. He was swollen and raspy when the television cameras finally started rolling. But no hardship was going to diminish his first day as head coach of a professional football team. "Every day is a good day," the 58-year-old Stubler said, smiling. "I haven't had a bad day in so long, I can't even tell you." .

Winehouse attracted yet more attention in court Friday when she blew Fielder-Civil kisses and shouted out, "I love you handsome, gorgeous one," as he was led away after facing charges of assault and conspiracy. Fielder-Civil, 25, is accused of attacking a pub landlord and then later conspiring with him to withdraw as a witness at the trial. Fielder-Civil pleaded innocent to the charge of assault, and is expected to plead to a charge of perverting the course of justice next month. Winehouse is nominated for six Grammy Awards including best new artist and album of the year for her acclaimed disc Back to Black, plus record and song of the year for the brassy hit Rehab.

BROOKE HOGAN LEAVES SCOTT STORCH?
I don't know what kind of contract Brooke Hogan had with Scott Storch. I would assume the Hulkster can get her out off any contract –even Scott Storch. Well, Brooke has a myspace page that has her record label status as, “Trying to find a good one!" She signed to Scott Storch's Storchavelli Records in 2006 and hasn't done a lot musically. Maybe this is the start of something new in '08. (She actually released a CD in 2006 called Undiscovered.
Multiplayer Modes for Condemned 2: Bloodshot Revealed
Bloodshot ship for both systems, but it will include four multiplayer modes as well, all of which we've outlined below. Leading things off, Condemned 2: Bloodshot will have a multiplayer mode called Crime Scene, a round-based competition to find and protect valuable evidence within the Condemned universe. One team will use its forensic tools to track and scan the evidence, while the opposing team will do everything in their power to keep the evidence hidden and protected. In a sense, it's like the multiplayer modes in the Splinter Cell games for PS3 and Xbox 360. Bum Rush, meanwhile, will be a team-based race against time. With three minutes before one team can safely be evacuated, players must hold off an onslaught of attacks by the other team until the timer runs out in order to stand a chance of survival.
